Steps to adopting from DR Congo

We have been so busy the past two weeks getting ready to celebrate Christmas but also getting this adoption process rolling!  We have finished gathering all home study documents and actually picked our agency! 

Many people have asked us about the process and timeline of adopting from DR Congo.  We are slowly beginning to wrap our minds around the path we'll follow in the next few months, but found this process chart really helpful!  Some of the steps actually happen simultaneously, but we are still looking at a 6-12 month process until we finally have our little girl home.
