Home study report complete!

A home study report is required for any adoption, domestic or international.  Depending on how quickly information is provided by the couple, most home studies take 3-6 months.  Our contract indicates that the agency has 60 days from the home visit to produce a draft of the home study report.  We had our home visit two weeks ago and we told ourselves it would be awhile before we heard back from them.  To our surprise, we received a rough draft on Friday! It only took 2 weeks!  A few minor tweaks and it is off to be reviewed by our adoption agency.  Once they have reviewed it, we can go on the waiting list for a child!  It is so exciting to see our adoption process moving along and to know that God has something very special in store for us.
