We are Amber and Jim Coughlin and we started this blog to share the latest chapter in our lives; our pursuit of adopting a child from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).  Although we didn't know it at the time, we can look back over the past few years and see how God has been preparing the two of us for this huge step.  The entire process is likely to take anywhere from 8-24 months and we plan to share every step of the process on this site.  We will be posting updates on our progress, requests for prayer, and information about our fundraising efforts.  Please feel free to comment on our blog.  If you know anyone that would be interested in following us, please share!  The more people that are praying for us and supporting us, the easier this will be!
